The Event is a 72-Hour nonstop Prayer Vigil, “Praying and Celebrating with a Powerful Purpose.” The Dates are September 10, 11 & 12, 2009. The Purpose of this event is to rescue the Spirit of the community from decline, reinstate prosperity to families and usher in a new day of renewal, hope, vision and affluence. “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10 KJV). The Venue is the newly named Covelli Center Arena in downtown Youngstown, OH. We will also erect two 40’ x 40’ tents on the grounds that will house the continuous prayer vigil and other festivities. The Duration of the Vigil is continual for 72 hours, 9:00 a.m. Thursday thru 9:00 a.m. Sunday. The Goal is to recession proof our families and communities by giving glory, praise and thanks to GOD through the Prayers of hundreds of believers that will come, “… for such a time as this” (Ester 4:14 KJV). The Participants of this event will be ministers or representatives of faith-based organizations, speakers, teachers, choirs and musicians invited to take part in prayer vigil and celebration. The Process is to invite people from the community of all backgrounds, “… And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd” (John 10:16 KJV). “And many resorted unto him, and said, John did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true. And many believed on him there” (John 10:41-42 KJV). We will share worship, spirit stimulation and celebrate through song and knowledge. The Projected Budget will include the cost of the venue, speakers’ fees and expenses, advertising in the major markets of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Akron/Canton and the Trumbull/Mahoning Valley, set-up and event preparation and other event related costs. The total budget will be approximately $115,000.00. The Funding will require soliciting sponsors to contribute and to rent vendor spaces in the arena. The Revenues received will pay all outstanding expenses. The sponsors may receive repayment of sponsorship support proportionate to their funding level and any residual funds will be donated to the participating non-profit organizations. |
